Description
The Genesee Transportation Council (GTC), acting on behalf of Ontario County, is soliciting proposals for consulting services to develop the Manchester Active Transportation Plan. This plan will create a coordinated, data-driven, and community-informed strategy to enhance non-motorized transportation options, including walking and bicycling, throughout the Town of Manchester, the Villages of Manchester, Shortsville, and Clifton Springs, and the Hamlet of Port Gibson. The project scope includes auditing infrastructure gaps, policy barriers, and opportunities; prioritizing health, safety, quality of life, connectivity, and job access; and delivering a set of recommendations, conceptual designs, and funding strategies. These efforts will align with and support local, state, and GTC transportation planning objectives. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) contracting goal of 2.90% has been established for this procurement.
