Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for market research only and is not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. The Department of Veterans Affairs is assessing potential sources for a firm-fixed-price, design-bid-build construction project supporting Electronic Health Record Modernization at the West Haven VA Medical Center. The anticipated project magnitude is $20 million to $50 million, with an estimated 730-calendar-day performance period beginning upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed. The work includes facility-wide fiber upgrades and redundant fiber runs to telecommunications rooms and demarcation rooms, data-drop installation, new electrical outlets and telecommunications-room power, power-distribution and HVAC upgrades, physical-security assessment and improvements, hazardous-material abatement, and construction of a new data center across multiple medical-center buildings. Respondents must submit a capability statement addressing company and business-size information, interest, bonding capacity, comparable projects completed within the last seven years, technical capabilities and personnel, self-performed work, and the provided Project Labor Agreement questionnaire. The response is limited to nine single-sided pages, must include a cover page, and must be submitted as one application-generated PDF of no more than 4 MB.
