Description
The Oklahoma Commissioners of the Land Office is soliciting sealed bids for a soil conservation project involving repair and clearing of dams and cleanout of six ponds on three agricultural leases. The work is intended to remove silt and trees and increase each pond's holding capacity within the allotted hours. The bid schedule includes six line items totaling 48 hours, with unit prices, line-item totals, and a project total required; travel and associated expenses must be included in the total acquisition price and may not be quoted separately. Bids will be evaluated on a lowest responsible bid basis. The selected contractor must begin work within 10 days after receiving notification to proceed and must comply with applicable laws, E-Verify requirements, and Oklahoma's tobacco-free executive order. Current general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage, or documentation of a workers' compensation exemption, will be required from the selected bidder. References may be requested.
