Description
The City of Little Rock is soliciting a general contractor for construction of approximately 2,419 linear feet of shared-use recreational trail from 12th Street to Zoo Drive. The work includes underground storm drainage, curb inlets, sidewalk, curb and driveway reconstruction, street conversion, signage, removable bollards, pavement striping, and related trail improvements. The project also includes reconfiguring an existing bridge lane, bridge deck repairs and polymer overlay work, architectural and textured concrete finishes, solar-powered pedestrian-activated rectangular rapid flashing beacons with accessible pushbuttons and wireless communications, and underground electrical infrastructure for future trail and bridge lighting. Bidders must submit the required bid, qualifications, licensing, certification, and bid-security materials; a 5% bid bond is required for bids of $50,000 or more. The selected contractor must provide performance and payment bonds before award and complete the project within 180 consecutive calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed.
