Description
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities is soliciting quotes for a turnkey window shade project at its Intensive Treatment Option facility. The scope includes furnishing commercial-grade roller shades, field verification and measurement of window openings, product selection and submittals, fabric and color samples, procurement, delivery and inside delivery, mounting hardware, installation, coordination with the general contractor, final cleaning, testing, punch-list correction, and warranty documentation. The preferred product is a commercial-grade roller shade using SheerWeave or an equivalent solar-screen fabric, generally with a preferred 3% to 5% openness factor. Proposed products must provide glare reduction, UV protection, privacy, light control, durability, and cleanability. The proposal must identify the manufacturer, product line, fabric, openness factor, color, operating mechanism, mounting method, shade quantity, itemized costs, warranty, lead time, installation duration, applicable New York State contract information, exceptions, substitutions, and assumptions. This is an Article 8 public works project requiring prevailing wages and New York State Department of Labor registration; a valid registration number and Certificate of Registration must accompany the bid. Attendance at the mandatory site visit is required to submit a valid quote.
