Description
The University of Texas at Tyler is soliciting statements of qualifications from architectural and engineering firms to establish multiple indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts for on-call professional services. Selected firms may provide services as full-service teams or within individual disciplines, including architecture, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, landscape architecture, accessibility, building envelope, environmental and hazardous materials, surveying, and geotechnical engineering. Services will be assigned through task orders and may include renovations, remodeling, additions, accessibility and life-safety improvements, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, roofing, site, utility, energy-efficiency, infrastructure, parking, and pedestrian improvements. Respondents must submit a statement of qualifications addressing organizational capability, financial stability, project-team qualifications, past representative projects, past performance, design and construction administration capabilities, planning, best practices, and problem resolution. The qualifications package is limited to 40 printable pages, excluding the cover, table of contents, subcontracting plan, and Execution of Offer. The sample agreement states an initial 24-month term with two successive 12-month renewal options, an indefinite overall contract value capped at $5,000,000 without prior Board of Regents authorization, and no minimum amount of work. Professional liability, commercial general liability, workers’ compensation, employer’s liability, and business auto liability insurance are required under the agreement.
