Description
Tyler Independent School District is soliciting a turnkey Category One E-Rate WAN solution connecting approximately 32 district sites to a Legacy High School point of presence. The scope includes dedicated, non-burstable 10 Gbps optical Ethernet point-to-point circuits from district locations, a 100 Gbps connection between the district network operations center and the Legacy High School point of presence, and a 10 Gbps connection from that point of presence to the SUPERNet Longview point of presence. The provider must furnish and install the required fiber, equipment, wiring, permits, rights-of-way, testing, labeling, restoration, and related materials and labor. The provider will also be responsible for 24/7/365 help desk and network management, operations, maintenance, support, service-level commitments, circuit monitoring, and ensuring service operation by approximately July 1, 2027. The requested structure is a four-year contract with three voluntary one-year extensions, evaluated on a seven-year total cost. Proposals must include detailed network and service specifications, pricing, service-level information, disaster recovery and support procedures, references for at least three similar WAN installations, a Texas contractor's license, and the required district forms and certifications.
