Description
The North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is soliciting qualifications from experienced architecture and engineering firms to provide full design services for a new State Veterans Home near Fayetteville, North Carolina. The planned facility is approximately 145,000 square feet with 150 beds, will be located on a 20-acre parcel in the Overhills area near Fort Bragg, and will include site development and associated parking. The preliminary design will also evaluate a potential Adult Daycare facility. Required services include all State Construction Office design submittal phases, cost estimates, bidding services, construction administration, record drawings, and project closeout. The total project budget is $116,896,000. Firms must be properly licensed in North Carolina to provide the proposed architectural, engineering, or landscape architectural services. Selection criteria include relevant expertise, past performance, staffing and consultant teams, workload, design approach, cost and schedule experience, construction administration capabilities, area familiarity, and successful completion of comparable projects.
