Cumberland County is soliciting bids for the demolition of 13 existing 1-ton floor-mounted PTAC units and installation of 13 new 1-ton, 12,000-BTU wall-mounted mini-split systems. The preferred equipment is Mitsubishi or comparable, with indoor and outdoor units, new refrigerant lines, outdoor equipment brackets, electrical rerouting to outdoor disconnects, thermostats with protective guards, startup, and system-function checks. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment; obtain required permits and inspections; remove construction debris; submit equipment for County approval before purchase; and complete the work within 30 calendar days after the notice to proceed and before June 30, 2027. A one-year parts-and-labor warranty and a minimum five-year equipment warranty are required. Bid, performance, and payment bonds are not required.
