Description
Cumberland County seeks an authorized Caterpillar dealer to provide all labor, equipment, and materials for a detention center paralleling switchgear upgrade. The work includes supplying, installing, programming, testing, and commissioning a switchgear and generator control system configured for two generator breakers and eight automatic transfer switch start inputs. The project also includes upgrading two 3412 generator control panels to EMCP 4.2B control panel kits, installing new control enclosures, engine wiring and sensors as needed, CDVR voltage regulators, remote annunciator panels, communication wiring, control relays, power supplies, terminal blocks, emergency-stop buttons, LED indicators, and alarm horns with strobes. The contractor must test the complete system, provide on-site operator training, maintain generator availability by working on one unit at a time, and complete the work within 180 calendar days after the written Notice to Proceed. Contractors must be properly licensed, provide required product submittals, and furnish a 12-month warranty on materials and workmanship.
