Description
The Town of Hope Mills Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a qualified individual or business to operate and manage the concession stand at Hope Mills Lake Park. The contractor must provide all equipment, supplies, and items needed for operations and may sell approved pre-packaged and prepared foods, beverages, ice cream, and similar concession products. Proposals that include improvements to expand food offerings will receive priority consideration. The selected concessionaire must operate the facility as a Limited Food Establishment, obtain applicable health and other permits, maintain a clean and sanitary operation, comply with applicable laws and park policies, and provide courteous service during regular park use and special events. The proposal must describe the proposer’s qualifications, relevant concession experience, management team, business plan, references, subcontractors or partners, and proposed approach. The contract is for three years with two one-year options at the Town’s discretion; the concessionaire will pay $1,040 per month for the concession building and pavilion. Insurance, including general liability and workers’ compensation coverage, is required, and proof of insurance must accompany the initial proposal.
