Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is soliciting quotations from small businesses for multiple line-item awards covering kosher whole milk, fresh large eggs, and kosher whole-wheat bread. The milk must be certified Kosher Dairy by a nationally accepted Orthodox Kashrut organization, with each package marked with the kosher certification; the bread must be certified Kosher Parve and list whole-wheat flour as its first ingredient. The solicitation also references Kosher and Halal food requirements, although the listed line items specify kosher products. The quantities cover an entire quarter: 31,852 half-pint milk servings, 53,094 eggs, and 134,928 bread units.
