Description
This public works contract covers improvement of two dams on Clear Creek within a former trout hatchery in Pierce County. The work includes removal of both dams and other obstructions, restoration of a portion of the stream, temporary stream diversion, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, tree removal, channel excavation, stream grading, installation of large woody material, and planting. The project involves 111 bid items and 300 working days. The estimated contract value is $10,000,000 to $12,000,000. The contract has a 5% condition-of-award public works small business enterprise goal and a 2% condition-of-award veteran-owned business goal.
