Description
Dallas County is soliciting bids for a 3-year service contract to provide comprehensive automotive body damage and collision repair services. This contract will cover a range of vehicles, including passenger cars, light trucks (up to 1 ton), and medium to heavy-duty trucks (1-1/2 ton to 5 ton), as well as medium to heavy-duty electric vehicles (EVs). Vendors must have at least three years of experience in the automotive body collision repair business and possess the necessary certifications, such as I-CAR for technicians and ASE certifications for mechanical work related to collision repairs. Facilities must be equipped with specific tools and equipment, including dust-free paint booths, unibody repair benches, modern wheel alignment equipment, and air conditioning recycling systems. All repairs must comply with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) requirements and applicable environmental and safety regulations. A minimum of five commercial customer references from the past 24 months is required to demonstrate qualifications and experience.
