Description
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is soliciting proposals for a five-year contract, with two one-year options, for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Supplies and Related Services. The scope of work is divided into eight distinct MRO Categories: Electrical Supplies, Material Handling Supplies, Industrial Supplies, Safety Supplies, General Tools, Hardware & Fasteners, Plumbing Supplies, and Janitorial & Cleaning Supplies. The MTA has established goals for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) at 15%, Women Business Enterprise (WBE) at 15%, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) at 6%. The estimated range for this solicitation is over $100 million.
