Description
Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) is soliciting bids for its Galvanized Service Line Replacement Program (CIP No. 275-01). This project involves furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment for the complete installation of galvanized water service lines on the private side, along with associated appurtenances as detailed in the specifications and drawings. Bidders must possess a valid North Carolina General Contractor's License for the type and value of work to be performed. OWASA has set a minimum ten (10%) percent goal for participation by minority businesses. Contract documents are available electronically upon request from Dave Malinauskas at malinauskasdg@cdmsmith.com. Bidders are required to submit a Non-Collusion Affidavit and must email Dave Malinauskas to indicate their intention to bid to ensure they receive any addenda or notices. The project requires substantial completion within 270 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed and final completion within 300 consecutive calendar days. A bid bond or a certified/cashier's check for five percent (5%) of the bid amount is required.
