Description
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors to renovate the kitchen at Sunmount DDSO, located at 2445 State Route 30, Tupper Lake, NY 12986. The project includes demolition of existing countertops, cabinetry, backsplash tile, flooring, and light fixtures; repair of walls, ceiling, and subfloor as necessary; and installation of new luxury vinyl plank flooring (approximately 218 sq ft), cabinetry, solid surface countertops, sinks with supply and drain lines, backsplash, lighting fixtures, and electrical outlets. Existing appliances will be removed and reinstalled. The contractor must provide all labor and materials, and work must be completed within 30 days of award. This is a NYS Public Works project requiring prevailing wages and certified payrolls. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Proposals are due by September 10, 2026 at 3:00 PM.
