Description
The Town of Hampton is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of sodium hypochlorite with a minimum of 15% available chlorine and a specific gravity of 1.21 at 60°F. Deliveries will be made in increments of 4,000 to 5,500 gallons, within three days of notification, with an estimated annual usage of approximately 50,000 gallons. Each delivery must include an analysis showing the chlorine percentage, and the delivery truck must have a 2-inch male quick coupling and its own pump for off-loading. The contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028. Bidders must submit pricing per gallon for each contract year, with freight included, and provide a summary of qualifications and three references for comparable services. Subcontracting is prohibited. The selected vendor must meet specified insurance requirements, including general liability coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, automobile liability coverage, and workers’ compensation coverage. A certificate of insurance and endorsement are required before contract execution.
