Description
The City of Kalamazoo is soliciting sealed bids for a one-year contract beginning January 1, 2027, to supply liquid sodium hypochlorite containing a minimum of 12% sodium hypochlorite by volume. The material must be NSF-approved in accordance with AWWA/NSF Standard 60 and will be purchased through as-needed order releases. The estimated annual quantity is 427,500 gallons, delivered in approximately 95 shipments of 4,500 gallons each to the Water Reclamation Plant. Deliveries must generally occur within 48 hours of order release, with emergency deliveries required within 24 hours of notification. The contract may be extended for four additional one-year periods by mutual agreement, with a possible month-to-month continuation of up to six months. Bidders must submit firm pricing for the contract period, delivery information, required bid forms, references, and other requested business information.
