City of Yakima NOTICE TO BIDDERS BID 12629 Notice is hereby given by the undersigned that electronic sealed Bids will be accepted via PublicPurchase.com until the hour of 2:00:00 PM local Washington State time on October 1, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened in Yakima City Hall, Council Chambers, 129 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, Washington 98901. The City of Yakima reserves the right to reject any & all BIDs. Description
The City of Yakima is soliciting bids for 60 dry tons of liquid aluminum chlorohydrate (ACH), bid on a net-dry-ton basis. The product must meet AWWA Standard B 408-03, or the most recent revision, and ANSI/NSF Standard 60. Each load must include specific-gravity information at no additional charge, and the bidder must provide point-by-point technical responses using the required Technical Specification Analysis form. Delivery is FOB destination, freight prepaid, and inside delivery is required. The maximum delivery time is five calendar days after receipt of order. The solicitation contemplates a one-year contract with up to four additional one-year extensions, and requires the successful contractor to comply with specified insurance, hazardous-material, transportation, and pollution-liability requirements.
