Description
The City of Durango is requesting proposals from a professional services provider for furniture, fixtures, and equipment services supporting the Police Department and approximately half of City Hall. The scope includes programming and needs analysis; user-group meetings; field verification; inventory analysis and tracking of reusable furniture; furniture layouts and space planning; product selection, specifications, samples, budgeting, and procurement support; and preparation of an installation package. The selected firm will also be responsible for furniture delivery, onsite supervision, setup and installation, inspection of deliveries, debris removal, punch-list development, operations and maintenance documentation, manufacturer warranty coordination, and an 11-month warranty walk-through. Shortlisted candidates will receive plan sets. The City permits cooperative purchasing through competitively awarded contracts such as Omnia, Sourcewell, or Colorado State contracts if specified contract vehicles, pricing schedules, and favorable pricing are disclosed for review. The referenced new-furniture budget is $800,000, but no total contract award amount is stated.
