Ad#12676531 10/08/2026 CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL INVITATION TO BID FILLMORE AVENUE VILLAS STORMWATER CONSTRUCTION BID #2026-05 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the City of Cape Canaveral, Florida (the City) is accepting sealed bids from qualified and properly licensed contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to complete the FILLMORE AVENUE VILLAS STORMWATER CONSTRUCTION, as more particularly described in the Bidding and Contract Documents. The work generally consists of the excavation of underground concrete structures, and the construction of a stormwater system which consists of pipes, inlets/drains, a swale, grass, and the planting of bamboo along certain portions of the properties, and related appurtenant work. Sealed bids will be received by the City of Cape Canaveral Capital Projects Office until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Any bids received after the above time and date will not be accepted or considered. Any uncertainty regarding the time a bid is received will be resolved against the Bidder. Bid opening will be shortly thereafter at 2:05 P.M. on Thursday, November 5th at City Hall, Cape Canaveral, Florida, at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. A contract may be formed only upon the selected contractor successfully negotiating the terms and conditions of a written contract which must be approved and duly executed by the City and selected contractor. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and award the contract in the best interest of the City, subject to applicable law, Bidding Documents, and City procurement policies and regulations. BIDDING DOCUMENTS (PROJECT PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS): All bids must be submitted in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Invitation to Bid (ITB) Package which contains detailed Instructions to Bidders.
