Description
The University of Texas at Austin is soliciting statements of qualifications for a Campus Geological and Hydrogeological Study (CAMCP2001485). The project aims to characterize the geology and hydrogeology beneath the Main Campus, compile existing subsurface data into a web-based GIS geodatabase, and develop pre-design processes to identify problematic subsurface conditions and recommend remediation strategies. The study will also identify and evaluate alternative beneficial uses for groundwater and analyze the impacts of construction and infrastructure on groundwater. The selected firm will be responsible for data identification, collection, extraction, on-site evaluation, data analysis, and reporting, including a detailed GIS-based geodatabase and map, and a comprehensive geological and hydrogeological conditions report.
