Description
Hays County is seeking proposals from interested firms to provide comprehensive electronic payment processing services for the Tax Assessor-Collector's Office. This program is intended to support the collection of property tax, motor vehicle sales tax and fees, vehicle inventory tax, court costs, and other fees. The selected vendor will collaborate with the Tax Assessor-Collector, Hays County Information Technology staff, Tyler Technologies, and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles to meet the needs of both the office and the taxpayers. This service is provided at no direct cost to the County; users of the service, such as taxpayers, will incur the payment processing fees at the time of their transaction.
