Description
The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) intends to issue a sole source contract for a project titled "Detection of Ocean Surface Fluid Contaminants with Multispectral Sensor under a wider range of illumination conditions." This contract will build upon previous results obtained with multispectral technology, aiming to improve real-time processing time and accuracy for characterizing dielectric fluid thicknesses. Water Mapping, LLC, the offeror, has demonstrated a unique capability in this field with over 20 years of experience, owning a specialized image processing computer lab and operating a suite of sensors and Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS). They offer high-quality geosciences services, including data collection and environmental monitoring. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. However, responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal by June 29, 2026, to be considered.
