Description
The Village of Homewood is soliciting sealed bids for the Lead Service Line Replacement FY27 – Project 1. The work includes trenchless replacement of lead service lines with new water services, reconnection to the water main, installation of B-Boxes and shut-off valves, connection to customer meters, and inspection by a third-party licensed plumber. The project also includes removal and replacement of sidewalks and hot-mix asphalt, landscaping and seeding restoration, and distribution of pitcher filters. The procurement is subject to Illinois Environmental Protection Agency loan-program requirements, Davis-Bacon requirements, Illinois public-works labor laws, Illinois Works requirements, Build America, Buy America requirements, disadvantaged-business-enterprise affirmative-effort requirements, and applicable federal equal-employment requirements.
