Description
The City of Parsons is soliciting construction bids for the Water System Improvements Project (T10-11018). The work includes installing new water mains and services to replace deteriorated waterlines, associated appurtenances, road repairs, and two emergency generators. The project is expected to reach substantial completion within 330 calendar days after the Contract Times commence and final completion within 360 days. Bidders must hold a West Virginia contractor's license, submit a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the base bid, comply with applicable affirmative-action, disadvantaged-business-enterprise, labor-standard, prevailing-wage, drug-free-workplace, Build America, Buy America, and federal wage requirements, and demonstrate positive efforts to subcontract work to disadvantaged business enterprises. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required, and bids from non-attendees will not be accepted.
