Description
The City of Sherwood, Oregon, is requesting proposals for construction of an underground fiber-to-the-home distribution network covering all premises within the city. The project includes the fiber construction components for a 1- and 10-gigabit XGS-PON system, including passive splitter cabinets in the field and active electronics within the City's headend; active electronics are excluded from the bid. Questions must be submitted by email to the designated project contact, and responses will be posted on the City's website. The proposal deadline is November 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time.
