Description
The City of Monett is soliciting bids for the construction of the MONETT CHAPELL DR OVER BNSF RAILROAD, BRIDGE # 2870013, #OOOS(628) project. The scope of work includes the construction of a new railroad overpass bridge, the extension of Box Culvert Bridge #2870013, and associated roadway improvements. This also includes the removal of existing improvements and the addition of ADA-compliant sidewalks. Bidders are required to pay prevailing wages as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, or state wage rate, whichever is higher. Contractors and subcontractors must ensure their on-site employees complete a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program within sixty (60) days of starting work. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the proposal is required. The project has a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 0%, and no second-tier subcontracting will be permitted.
