Description
The Camden County Commission is seeking bids for the supply and distribution of groceries to the Camden County Adult Detention Center in Camdenton, Missouri. The selected vendor will be responsible for weekly deliveries to accommodate an average daily population of 110 inmates, with the ability to replace shortages, damaged items, or supply emergency items within two business days. A preference is given to local businesses within a 75-mile radius of Camden County to ensure timely extra deliveries. The awarded vendor must provide a rotating menu prepared by a licensed nutritionist, ensuring all caloric and nutritional requirements are met. High-quality and palatable food is expected, with readily available substitutions to guarantee uninterrupted supply. The Camden County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to select the best and lowest bid submitted.
