Description
Northern Alberta Institute of Technology is upgrading two exterior digital signage displays at its Main Campus and Souch Campus in Edmonton, Alberta. The project requires outdoor-rated Direct View LED systems within the specified 5.7–6.7 mm pixel-pitch range, with separate itemized pricing for each campus. Existing enclosures, BrightSign players, CAT6A Ethernet infrastructure, HDMI connections, and AppSpace content licensing will be reused where applicable. Vendors must conduct site inspections and measurements, provide manufacturer-specific engineering and as-built drawing packages, fabricate metal trim to address enclosure gaps, assess existing electrical capacity, supply and install the display systems and associated mounting, power, control, and interconnect components, and complete integration, calibration, testing, commissioning, training, and cleanup. Installation must be performed by manufacturer-authorized and certified technicians, and proposed systems must meet the stated certification, brightness, refresh-rate, environmental, impact-resistance, lifespan, spare-parts, and warranty requirements. The submission must also address vendor qualifications, Canadian reference installations, manufacturer authorization, Edmonton service response capability, and separate pricing for optional one-, three-, and five-year preventative maintenance and comprehensive support agreements.
