The City of Rockford is soliciting bids for a public works project involving the removal, secure storage, cleaning, and reinstallation of existing brick pavers. The work includes aggregate and sand bedding, matching the existing interlocking pattern and grade, traffic control, and incidental removal of bituminous or concrete pavement. The specifications identify Latham Street from Vernon Street to Fulton Avenue and indicate that additional repair locations may be provided by the City; attached maps identify repair areas along Melrose Street. The contract is a $50,000 lump-sum quantity-based project for brick paver repair, with the bidder proposing the square footage to be removed and replaced.
