Description
DeKalb County Highway Department requires Phase I & II preliminary engineering services for the replacement of the Howison Road bridge (SN 019-5106), located three miles northeast of Waterman, IL. The scope includes data collection and survey, environmental studies coordination, preparation of IDOT forms including the PDR, contract plans and project special provisions, estimates of cost and time, and right-of-way acquisition including highway plats and legals. The project is anticipated to be processed as a State Approved Categorical Exclusion. Phase I & II engineering are expected to be completed for a January 2027 letting. The prime firm must be IDOT prequalified in Structures: Highway-Typical.
