Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting a contractor to provide the facilities, labor, materials, parts, tooling, testing, inspection, overhaul, upgrades, and repairs necessary to return helicopter drive modules to a Ready for Issue condition. The requirement covers Module, Drive, Aircraft components associated with Bell S/C 449-310-102-103 and GE part number RYLC-1000, including inspection, component repair or replacement, reassembly, testing, and applicable packaging. The initial order may include up to 18 units, with option pricing for a maximum of 80 units over the entire contract period. The initial induction period is 365 calendar days from contract award, with a possible additional 365-day extension. The contractor must perform the work at the repair facility identified in the statement of work, supply necessary parts and materials unless designated as government-furnished, maintain applicable quality and calibration systems, and comply with configuration-management, repair-source, storage, and documentation requirements. The procurement is identified as a sole-source Navy repair requirement associated with GE Aviation Systems LLC, CAGE 05624, although other capable sources may express interest.
