Description
The United States Coast Guard is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contract from a small business to fabricate one weathertight door, one quick-acting watertight hatch, and one watertight scuttle for the USCGC OAK. The items must conform to the specified Coast Guard and NAVSEA drawings, welding requirements, coatings and preservation standards, and other referenced technical specifications. The contractor must construct shipping containers and include shipping to the cutter's homeport. The quotation must identify the items offered, demonstrate technical capability and compliance with the Statement of Work, provide relevant corporate experience and past-performance information, identify anticipated subcontractors and their work percentages, and include all-inclusive pricing. Technical capability and past performance are pass/fail factors, and award is planned for the lowest evaluated price among acceptable quotations.
