Description
The Pinellas County School District is soliciting sealed electronic bids for districtwide supply and delivery of commercial doors, frames, and related components. The scope includes natural birch wood doors; non-rated and one-hour fire-rated galvanized and primed metal doors and frames; astragals; metal window frames and lite kits; louvers; transoms or side panels; door and frame preparation; and miscellaneous hardware and replacement components. Products must meet specified construction, fire-rating, hardware-preparation, and industry-standard requirements, with Steelcraft or equal products permitted where stated. The resulting supplier must provide firm net pricing, including freight and handling, and must be located within 75 miles of the District's district office. The initial contract period is one year, with two additional one-year renewal periods available by mutual consent and limited unilateral 30-day extensions. A wood door sample, warranty information, manufacturer's certificate, and specified compliance forms may be required as part of the bid submission.
