Description
The City of Meriden is soliciting bids for the furnishing and installation of a new 800 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) at the Meriden Police Department. This project requires a turnkey installation, including all associated excavation, bollards, conduit, feeders, system annunciation, engineered installation services, temporary generator rental, complete system switchover, startup, operational testing, and commissioning. The solicitation specifies a release date of June 15, 2026, with a bid submission deadline of July 30, 2026, at 11:00 am. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 14, 2026, at 9:00 am at the Meriden Police Department's rear parking lot. Bids must be submitted electronically via the City's eProcurement Portal: https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/meridenct.
