Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a Sources Sought notice for professional forensic data recovery services involving two failed NETGEAR ReadyNAS 3220 systems containing Philips ISCV radiographic DICOM studies from 2007 through 2020. The systems contain 24 SATA disks across two RAID6 volumes. The contractor must receive or collect the labeled drives, maintain chain-of-custody documentation, forensically image the original disks, recover all accessible studies with intact metadata and directory structure, and provide the recovered datasets on externally accessible media suitable for migration into AGFA Radiology PACS. After the VA confirms acceptance of the recovered data, the contractor must securely destroy all VA data and related processing materials and provide a signed Certificate of Destruction. Respondents must provide a tailored capability statement, confirm a current Class-10 (ISO 4) clean-room capability for physical recovery work, demonstrate compliance with specified SSAE 18 SOC audit standards, and provide evidence that assigned specialists hold current CDRP credentials. This is a Sources Sought notice rather than a request for proposals; responses are due by email and must include the requested organizational and capability information.
