Description
Kean University is soliciting bids from qualified construction management firms to provide comprehensive services for approximately 44 Higher Education Capital Improvement Fund and Higher Education Facilities Trust Fund projects across its New Jersey campuses. The scope includes program management, preconstruction, design management, estimating, scheduling, project controls, regulatory coordination, grant administration support, procurement assistance, construction management, commissioning, project closeout, and warranty administration. The selected firm will enter into one master agreement covering assigned projects, with individual project authorizations and separate guaranteed maximum prices, budgets, schedules, grant accounting, and closeout documentation. The program includes building envelope, roofing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, elevator, security, interior, lighting, and utility improvements, with an approximately $50,000,000 total approved grant value. The contract is for a two-year term with a possible one-year extension, and bidders must submit a fee proposal, bidder data sheets, staffing and organizational information, program management approach and methodology, references, financial statements, required certifications and disclosures, and other completed forms and attachments.
