Description
The City of Cartersville is soliciting sealed bids for all labor, materials, and equipment required to replace water infrastructure along Mechanicsville and Jones Mill Road. Phase I includes approximately 4,346 linear feet of 8-inch and 70 linear feet of 6-inch PC 350 ductile iron pipe water main, plus 818 linear feet of 2-inch SDR9 water service. Phase II includes approximately 6,785 linear feet of 8-inch PC 350 ductile iron pipe water main and 1,069 linear feet of 2-inch SDR9 water service, with related accessories and work shown in the plans and specifications. Bids are based on unit-price items. Phase I must reach substantial completion within 180 calendar days and final completion within 210 calendar days after notice to proceed. Phase II has the same completion requirements measured from Phase I substantial completion, and work on Phase II cannot begin until Phase I is substantially complete. A 5% bid security is required. The bid package must include the Bid Form, Bid Bond, Form of Qualification of Bidder, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and Immigration and Security Form.
