Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a brand-name-or-equivalent Mid Atlantic Machinery FL5100RDDR multi-station automatic parts finishing machine, including accessories, delivery, rigging, freight, installation, and a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty. The machine must support deburring, edge rounding, and finishing of aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel parts; process material from 0.030 to 6.00 inches thick and up to 49 inches wide; include four programmable finishing stations, wet dust collection, a vacuum table, quick-change abrasives, digital controls, safety interlocks, and U.S.-compatible voltage. The solicitation also lists accessories including adapters, lifting units, a swivel control panel, dust collector, duct kits, abrasive media, rigging, and freight. The contractor must deliver the equipment within 30 days of award, unload and move it through the designated loading dock, place it in the facility, and assemble it so it is operational. Delivery and installation are to occur during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. The stated period of performance is September 30, 2026, through October 31, 2026.
