Description
Kenton County Fiscal Court is seeking a single-prime contractor for renovation of approximately 6,585 square feet on the first floor of the Kenton County Justice Center. The work includes selective demolition; cold-rolled metal framing and gypsum board; painting; finish carpentry and casework; fixed pew-style seating; carpet tile, ceramic tile, and resilient flooring; and related architectural finishes. The scope also includes HVAC renovation, plumbing and fixtures, fire-suppression sprinkler modifications, electrical demolition and new work, lighting and controls, panelboard and transformer work, telecommunications cabling and racks, access control and security rough-ins, fire-alarm modifications, and courtroom audio/visual rough-ins. The procurement is for a single-prime contract with a stated substantial-completion period of 240 calendar days. A 5 percent bid bond is required with the proposal, and a 100 percent performance bond or letter of credit is required before contract execution. The selected vendor must provide required insurance, including commercial general liability and workers' compensation, and must submit the complete response, separate cost proposal, W-9, certificate of insurance, and Kenton County occupational license through the county's electronic procurement portal.
