Description
The Air Force Metrology and Calibration (AFMETCAL) at Heath, OH, intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for a Triple Point of Water Maintenance System, specifically the Isotech ITL-M-18233. This system is required as a direct replacement for existing equipment and is essential for maintaining a primary fixed point on the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90) to enable high-accuracy SPRT calibrations. The current Air Force triple point of water cells and associated hardware are specifically designed for this model, making it the only compatible option. The system must be capable of housing, maintaining, and providing access to four Jarrett A11 Triple Point of Water cells simultaneously, preserving the ice mantle for a minimum of six weeks without user intervention. It needs to display and operate with temperature in degrees Celsius and have a digital display with easily readable fonts. The system must also include any special equipment, software, or licenses required for operation, alignment, or adjustment, along with a user and service manual in indexed PDF format on CD/DVD-ROM. A one-year warranty and technical support are also required.
