Description
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Operational Contracting Branch at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing various supplies and services for the 2026 Air Force Marathon. This opportunity encompasses support for portable water tanks, fencing, golf carts and UTVs, light towers, generators, material handling equipment, audio/visual systems, and comprehensive logistics operations. The period of performance for most services is one base year with four one-year option years, covering the marathon events from 2026 through 2030. Specific requirements include providing and setting up thousands of linear feet of steel fencing, a fleet of UTVs and golf carts for various roles, light towers and generators for illumination and power, and a high-quality audio and video system for start/finish lines and other key zones. Logistics support personnel will be required for setup, race day operations, and teardown. Interested vendors must submit a capabilities package demonstrating their technical ability to meet the specified requirements, including their company profile, socio-economic status, subcontracting strategy, and past performance. A mandatory requirement for all prospective contractors is registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 1. The government is assessing interest and capability to potentially set aside the acquisition for small businesses.
