Description
The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is soliciting proposals for secure document shredding services. The scope of work includes on-site, bi-weekly shredding, annual document destruction, and as-needed document purges. The contract will be for a term of thirty-six (36) months. RTA currently utilizes approximately twenty executive console-style cabinets, small paper recycling bins, tall paper recycling bins, and 32-gallon toter bins across three locations. Vendors are requested to provide pricing for bi-weekly shredding services for at least three (and up to five) locations, and for each style of container. Additionally, RTA requests quotes for the purchase of new containers. Bulk pick-up services for approximately 350 standard document storage boxes per year are also required. Destruction specifications must meet or exceed the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) standards. Vendors must also provide a manufacturer's warranty for products or services when applicable and ensure adequate inventory and response times, with a maximum of seven (7) business days for new orders.
