JMB Construction, Inc. is seeking certified DBE, MBE, and WBE subcontractor participation and supplier quotes for EBMUD’s water treatment plant effluent meter and large customer meter improvements, along with Circle Regulator replacement. Requested subcontracting scopes include electrical and instrumentation, traffic control, trucking, waterproofing, welding, rebar, and cast-in-drilled-hole piles. Suppliers are also sought for ready-mix concrete, aggregates, precast structures, and pipe and fittings. The work includes flow meter and flow verification improvements at Chevron No. 3 and No. 4, C&H Sugar, Walnut Creek Water Treatment Plant, and Sobrante Water Treatment Plant, as well as replacement of the Circle Regulator. The engineer’s estimate is $8 million to $10 million. Performance and payment bonds may be required.
