Description
Mount Royal University is conducting a Request for Information for a replacement lock system serving its West Residence apartments and townhouses, where approximately 910 existing locks require replacement. The current system is at end of life and no longer has available parts or resources. Respondents are asked to describe available locking hardware and access-control software, including integration with StarRez and Transact; keys, cards, fobs, or mobile credentials; access provisioning and deprovisioning; emergency and remote management; entry logs and reporting; cybersecurity; data storage; interoperability and data migration; retrofit requirements; and hardware durability. The scope may include removal and replacement of existing locks, door retrofits, installation, possible expansion to future buildings, staff training, ongoing technical support, warranty services, maintenance, service-level options, and budgetary pricing for equipment, credentials, installation, licensing, upgrades, and recurring services. The RFI is for information-gathering only and does not commit the university to an award or contract.
