Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Centerline Instruments (Arthrex Inc.) for brand-name Arthrex equipment for the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. The notice identifies five AR-3350-2930 C-Line Carpal Tunnel Scopes, described as 2.9 x 158 mm, and five AR-8850S C-Line Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Releases. This is a Notice of Intent rather than a request for competitive quotes or proposals. Interested parties must provide clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition would benefit the government by the response deadline. Responses must include business size and socioeconomic information, UEI and registration information, and, for non-OEM contractors, an authorization letter from Arthrex Inc. confirming authorization to provide the required OEM parts or equipment.
