Description
The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17-VA South Texas (VASTHCS) facilities is conducting market research for a comprehensive education and training program for Sterile Processing personnel. The program will utilize the MySPD Education and Training platform powered by Incision to enhance staff competency, regulatory readiness, and adherence to industry standards through structured e-learning, competency tracking, and optional on-site support. The scope of work includes Core SPD Training with 22 multimedia e-learning courses, a Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing E-Learning Training Program with 8 specialized courses, and a Specialty Instruments Reprocessing Training Program with 7 specialized courses. The contractor will also provide approximately 109 AAMI-compliant SOPs covering sterilization, flexible endoscopy, decontamination, and assembly, with quarterly reviews. Competency tracking will be managed through Incision software to strengthen audit readiness and regulatory compliance. Implementation support includes an Implementation Boot Camp to identify super-users and establish training plans, monthly pulse checks with the contractor's education manager, quarterly CEU-approved in-services, and virtual certification courses. Optional add-ons include annual on-site education audits and action plans, on-site training, consulting, process improvement, and on-site competency validations. Deliverables include access to e-learning modules, competency tracking reports, SOP documentation, monthly pulse check reports, and quarterly in-service documentation. Acceptance criteria focus on successful training completion, documented competency, and adherence to SOPs.
