Description
Midland ISD is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the Bond 2023, Package 9 Middle School Group C project, which includes renovations at San Jacinto and Abell Junior High Schools. The project involves extensive work across various trades, including demolition, concrete, masonry, metals, wood, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialties, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, and security systems. Key activities include demolition of existing structures, new construction, and renovations to existing facilities. The scope of work detailed in the project manuals covers a wide range of building systems and components, indicating significant upgrades and modernizations to the school facilities. The project is divided into two volumes of project manuals, detailing specifications for all aspects of the construction. Responses to submitted questions will be posted in Ionwave by July 16, 2026, by 5:00 pm (C.S.T.). The bid opening will be held virtually at http://midlandisd.net/bidopenings immediately after bid closing.
